Shipping company : InPost
Shipment bought on: 16/8/26
Problem: Every InPost locker returns an error, but InPost customer service repeatedly provides useless responses and refuses to resolve the issue.
COUNTED SO FAR:
61 days , into my odyssey to get the service I paid for
31 hours , time spent
32 km , unnecessary travelling
24.75 hours , Equivalent Stress Tension (EST) endured
These values are automatically updated from the chronological event list, where the time spent, kilometres travelled, and EST for each event are recorded.
Here my correspondence with InPost . I’m starting to wonder if inpost is adopting a strategy designed to exasperate the customer: steering them from one solution to another—all of them useless—in the hope that they will give up on claiming the service they paid for.
My experience with InPost customer service
On 16 August 2026, I purchased a shipment through InPost. The same day, I took the parcel to an InPost locker — but the locker rejected it with an error.
I tried again. I tried different lockers. Same error.
Since then, I have spent many hours (see here the cronological history) trying to solve the Inpost problem. I have called and written to InPost customer service repeatedly and followed the solutions they suggested — including purchasing new shipments.
Nothing worked.
Just in this first phase — simply trying to hand the parcel over to the company — I travelled 32 kilometres. This makes InPost, the most unnecessarily polluting shipping experience I have ever had.
And the parcel is still waiting.
The most frustrating part, however, has been trying to get the problem solved. Different employees from InPost gave me different explanations. Proposed solutions failed. Information I had already provided was ignored, forcing me to explain the same problem again and again.
After 61 days the parcel is still waiting.
The way my messages and explanations are repeatedly ignored makes me feel like an idiot. But I won’t give up.
If you have had problems with InPost too, you are welcome to share your experience with me. Perhaps Inpost find it Easy to ignore one person. It may become a little harder when many people start documenting and sharing their experiences.
The Data
I might be making this whole story up or exaggerating what happened. That wouldn’t be fair. For this reason, I’m saving all my correspondence with InPost, to keep a documented record of the quality of their customer service.
I’ve repeatedly asked InPost to let me know if there is anything inaccurate in my account of what happened. So far, They haven’t corrected or disputed anything.

So far, what I see is a remarkable level of disregard for the customer and very little effort to actually solve the problem. In fact, some of their responses seem almost designed to frustrate the customer rather than help, indirectly suggesting that the easiest solution is simply to give up on a service that has already been paid for.
I´m not alone
My experience is personal. But the problems I encountered do not appear to be unique.
